Field Service Technician

Field based, Greater Vancouver Area

Our Service Team is growing! Advanced Sterilization Products has an immediate opening for a Field Service Technician (FST) 1. You will be responsible for providing technical service solutions to ASP customers, including new capital system installations as well as planned and corrective maintenance. You will support clients in BC, AB and other regions across the country as required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform the installation, operation, planned maintenance, repair, and modification of ASP systems within British Columbia and Alberta and other regions of Canada when needed.
• Provide technical support and respond to customer requests for emergency service.
• Support the local FSE II to manage all responsibilities of primary territory, including compliance and documentation requirements.
• Performs other duties assigned as needed
  
  

Work Environment

• Home office (10%) and hospital/surgery center environments (90%)
• Adheres to customer protective, safety, and security protocols
• This position requires on-call responsibilities including weekend call coverage on a rotating basis.
  
  

Qualifications

• You must reside in the Greater Vancouver Area
• You must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada
• You have a Diploma in Electronics, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering Technology with 2-4 years experience
• You possess a basic knowledge of computer operating systems such as Windows 10 and office-based programs such as Word, and Excel.
• You will ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is provided for the service and support of all ASP products.
• Proficient in spoken French is an asset.
  
  

Travel Requirements

• Frequent air travel - 50% of the time.
• Must be willing and able to travel overnight locally, regionally, and nationally as needed. Some international travel will also be required (infrequent).
