Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst Market Risk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of securities products, risk metrics, trade processing, and experience working with market risk platforms. If you're detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in capital markets, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to market risk.
• Work closely with risk, operations, and IT teams to ensure seamless trade processing and accurate risk calculations.
• Support end-to-end trade lifecycle activities including Trade Entry, Processing, G/L, and Reporting.
• Liaise with stakeholders to support Risk Metrics, VaR Calculations, and Credit Risk analysis.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
• Support data integration and reporting efforts, especially around risk and trade data.
• Participate in UAT testing, data validation, and ensure proper documentation.
• Work on data-related initiatives leveraging tools like SQL Server, Data Warehousing solutions, Databricks, and Snowflake.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 610 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Market Risk or Capital Markets.
• In-depth knowledge of securities products: OTC Derivatives, Listed Derivatives, Cash Instruments, SFTs, Repos/Reverse Repos, IRS, FX.
• Strong understanding of Trade Entry, Trade Processing, VaR, Risk Metrics, Reporting, and Credit Risk.
• Solid experience with SQL Server and Data Warehousing concepts.
• Exposure to Databricks and Snowflake is a strong plus.
• Prior experience with Murex or NuvoPrime platforms is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setup.
