Purpose
This position will have accountability for performing education activities for Cardiac Monitoring Center/IDTF Operations. Educators will be responsible for facilitating classroom and remote learning sessions, providing feedback to Leadership, conducting side-by-side mentoring and coaching to employees, developing and maintaining policies & procedures, creating and updating curriculum and making recommendations for improvements in accordance with HIPAA and appropriate departmental Standard Operating Procedures.

The estimated hiring salary range for this position is $65,000-$75,000.* The actual salary will be based on a variety of job-related factors, including geography, skills, education and experience. The range is a good faith estimate and may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for a range of benefits including medical, dental and 401K retirement plan.

Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility is training and Quality Control of new or existing EKG technicians through remote, classroom and 1:1 sessions.
- Facilitate new hire education classes for employees joining the organization
- Facilitate continuing education classes for existing employees in the organization
- Provide side-by-side coaching to new and existing employees based on QC/QA results
- Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures and process documents
- Propose process improvements and reeducation needs to Leadership
- Identify and resolve problems by creating a formal improvement process and present to leadership as appropriate
- Develop and execute project improvement initiatives set by senior leadership
- Maintains flexibility to accommodate all departments’ shifts as needed
- Maintains positive report and effective communication with all interdepartmental staff
- Maintains highest level of confidentiality regarding both patient and employee records in accordance with all applicable industry and company guidelines
- Perform operational functions periodically and as need to keep skills current
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree in Life Science or related field preferred.
- Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT)
- 10+ years of experience working in healthcare training / education.
- Experience in a HIPAA regulated environment
- Sense of urgency in handling time sensitive patient
- Should have knowledge of VitalConnect product lines and be able to communicate effectively with other internal customers
- Computer skills including proficiency in Gmail / Google Sheets / Excel and Word
- Customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills including phone etiquette
- Detail/process oriented, following through on tasks, problem-solving, troubleshooting and multi-tasking
- Self-starter, demonstrates initiative and flexibility in a fast paced environment
- Being a team player and professionalism
- Exceptional ECG analysis skills
- Demonstrate a team centered and patient first initiatives with a positive attitude
- Knowledge of medical terminology specific to cardiology
- The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all levels of learning.
- The ability to read and follow detailed instructions, maintain accurate records, and complete and produce quality reports
- The ability to follow procedures and learn support technology
- The ability to plan, organize, multi-task and adapt to priority changes
- The ability to use standard computers and basic office software
- Knowledge and usage of business English, spelling, grammar and punctuation
- Attention to detail
- Be willing to work overtime or extra hours as needed.
