About The Role

As a Product Manager on the Platform team, you will be responsible for building and evolving our cloud management experience that powers the most cloud-native and complete data streaming platform in the industry. With multiple real-time products closely intertwined, Confluent Cloud customers need a seamless and unified management experience across the platform. You will play a critical role in growing adoption of Confluent Cloud from regulated industries (Finance, Insurance, Healthcare) by unblocking their Disaster Recovery requirements across products.

You will own and drive the vision, strategy and execution for the cross-region Disaster Recovery roadmap. You're focused on solving highest impact customer problems. You're familiar with typical requirements from regulated industries to protect their resources. You're at ease leading cross-functional teams to get alignment and move forward.

What You Will Do

  • Own cloud management roadmap & strategy
  • Collect cloud management customers' requirements
  • Develop product specifications for cloud management features
  • Align design, product and engineering teams
  • Collaborate with marketing & the field to launch cloud management features

What You Will Bring

  • 5+ years of cloud experience in a IaaS, PaaS or SaaS stack
  • Experience building and supporting enterprise-grade products as product manager
  • Experience building, writing and defending a clear product roadmap and backlog backed by user stories and customer research.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working in a collaborative and consensus-driven environment
  • Ability to build relationships with co-workers and customers located around the world.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive business outcomes through product changes
  • Hands-on experience with at least one of the major Cloud Provider (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Multi-cloud or hybrid experience a plus
