Job Summary

Independence Pet Group (IPG) is seeking a Business Analyst to work closely with stakeholders and end-users to establish and implement new processes, process changes, and/or updates to meet specific business requirements.

Job Location: Remote

Main Responsibilities

  • Conducts ongoing analysis of business processes and makes recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Gathers and analyzes key information for business owners to thoroughly understand and makes recommendations for new and changing business needs
  • Focuses on business processes and works to align with organizational goals.
  • Identifies, defines, produces, and/or updates documentation for new and/or changing processes, systems, and/or programs.
  • Applies information systems development, implementation, and/or operation control concepts in a wide variety of technology settings.
  • Ensures all bugs, changes, and features are properly submitted, updated, and/or assigned.
  • May create end-user documentation.
  • Provides pre- and post-implementation support to internal and external users.
  • Creates and/or delivers functional/business requirements, documentation
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Present ROI analysis

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience: 3 years’ relevant experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college)
  • Develop specifications plans, communications, procedures, and/or training for business end-users
  • Serves as the liaison between business owners, end-users, software development teams, and/or key stakeholders to develop new and enhanced functionality and processes
  • Insurance background required

Accountability/Complexity

  • May manage projects requiring the responsibility of delegating work and reviewing resulting work product
  • May be responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within job area
  • May function as team leader and assistant to the supervisor/manager
