    The Opportunity

    GrowthLoop is growing quickly, and we're hiring a Head of People Operations to build and lead our people function. This role will be responsible for the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, compliance, compensation, and culture.

    You will report directly to the CEO and act as a strategic partner to the executive team. The ideal candidate is experienced in scaling HR operations in high-growth, remote environments and is comfortable working across both strategic planning and day-to-day execution. You'll build systems, support managers, ensure compliance, and create programs that help retain and develop a strong, values-aligned team.

    What You'll Do

    • Create and scale best-in-class talent acquisition and recruiting programs
    • Drive recruiting operations—overseeing offer letters, background checks, references, and recruiter performance.
    • Lead thoughtful, efficient onboarding and offboarding experiences.
    • Manage compensation structure, levels, and calibration in partnership with leadership.
    • Own and scale core people systems, including HRIS, payroll, onboarding, performance, and engagement tools.
    • Oversee benefits programs, including open enrollment and vendor relationships.
    • Maintain compliance across employment laws, states, and HR policies.
    • Partner with legal on immigration matters (OPT, visa-sponsorships, others).
    • Equip managers with frameworks and tools for performance, feedback, and growth.
    • Build internal mobility programs and career development pathways.
    • Lead performance review cycles and performance improvement plans.
    • Be the go-to for employee questions on benefits, payroll, and policies.
    • Champion culture, engagement, and inclusivity throughout the employee lifecycle.
    • Collaborate with leadership to drive alignment, communication, and organizational health.

    What We Look For

    • 7+ years running people operations / HR at companies with 80+ employees
    • 5+ years of management experience with a partner/coach mindset
    • Strong operator with a builder's mindset—thriving at taking things from 0→1 and 1→100
    • Expert knowledge of HR practices including compensation, benefits, and policies
    • Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations
    • Strategic thinker who anticipates company needs and acts proactively
    • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills at all organizational levels
    • Ability to build strong, trusting relationships while maintaining confidentiality
    • Outstanding communication skills—simplifying complex concepts with clarity
    • Self-starter with high motivation who thrives in complex environments
    • Exceptional prioritization skills to manage competing demands
    • Bias toward action, especially exceptional talent acquisition and development
    • Genuine passion for people and culture—deeply committed to building an environment where people thrive
    • Skilled in using People Analytics to drive data-informed decisions and identify workforce trends and opportunities.

    The expected salary range for this r.ole is $155,000-$185,000 USD. The total compensation will also include equity in the company. Final base salary decisions will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors unique to each candidate, such as the individual's skill set, depth of experience, and qualifications.
