Wild Pastures, our sister company, is on a mission to transform the meat industry. We deliver 100% grass fed, pasture-raised, environmentally-regenerative beef, chicken and pork and sustainably caught, wild seafood directly to our customers’ doors. We have incredibly high standards for our meat – all being raised in the USA by small-scale family farmers on lush pastures free from human-caused chemicals.

 

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Supply and Demand Planner to join our growing supply chain team. This role is critical to ensuring product availability, minimizing inventory risk, and maintaining alignment between supply, demand, and production planning across our agricultural product lines. The ideal candidate will bring strong forecasting skills, experience in supply chain planning, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

 

Essential Functions

  1. Forecasting & Supply Planning: update and review Wild Pastures forecasting model(s), including whole animal projections and PO planning to support business demand.
  2. Cross-Functional Collaboration: lead forecast collaboration with internal cross-functional partners to successfully build and track forecast plans for Wild Pastures.
  3. Weekly Distribution Center Coordination: plan weekly resort shipments from companies DCs to ensure appropriate inventory levels align with demand & sales history.
  4. Promotions & Sales Planning: confirm, monitor, and plan inventory for upcoming sale events and promotional activities.
  5. Protein Supply Management: manage raw material splits for Beef and Pork proteins while maintaining a supply & demand plan across various contract manufacturers.
  6. KPIs & Metric Tracking: drive continuous forecast process improvements to uphold forecast accuracy and working capital KPI targets.
  7. ERP Purchase Order Management: create and receive purchase orders within the ERP system to ensure accurate and timely transactions.
  8. Month-End Financial Reporting Support: provide overviews of raw materials at contract manufacturers to support finance and accounting team(s).
  9. Invoice Reconciliation: accurately review and reconcile assigned vendor invoices.

 

Competencies

  1. Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, forecasting models).
  2. Strong data analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable collaborating across departments.
  4. Familiarity with ERP, MRP, or supply chain planning tools (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Anaplan, etc.).
  5. Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
 

Required Education and Experience

  1. Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in Supply Chain, Business, Agriculture, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
  2. Minimum 3–5 total years of experience in supply chain required.
  3. 2+ years of experience in demand planning required.
 

Preferred Education & Experience

  1. Experience with seasonal or perishable inventory planning is a strong plus.
  2. Experience with agriculture, food, or CPG industries is preferred.
 

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies that weigh up to 20 pounds, and to bend and stand as necessary.  

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position during regular business hours (for example, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. This position does not require travel.
