Description
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the product meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance. The person in this role will work in liaison with development and product teams to create, execute and validate test cases based upon product requirements. The candidate will report to the QA lead and will collaborate with other QA members to track QA tasks, engage in defect resolution and look for automation integration.

Description
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the product meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance. The candidate will report to the QA lead and will collaborate with other QA members to track QA tasks, engage in defect resolution and look for automation integration.
Responsibilities
- Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases
- Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activities
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify requirements
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure integration between products
- Interpret and implement quality assurance standards
- Minimum of 1 – 3 Years of experience
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance
- Basic knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Experience developing automated test cases is a plus
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Attention to detail
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Ability to work in a team objectively
