Reporting to the Compliance Manager, the Practice Coordinator, Compliance will work with legal and administrative team members of Osler Works – Transactional to support the compliance practice and our legal entity management platform.
Please note, this role can operate as a fully remote opportunity within Ontario, or hybrid working out of our Ottawa or Toronto offices.
Major Responsibilities:
Education and Experience
This position requires a university degree in a business or technology discipline or a college Law Clerk diploma and a minimum of one year of relevant work experience is desired. Experience in a law firm or other professional services environment is preferred. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be acceptable.

Major Responsibilities:
- Work closely with and provide support to the Compliance Clerks on client and administrative matters
- Collaborate with stakeholders within OWT to create a streamlined process to verify entity data and coordinate amongst members of OWT
- Verify client data in the legal entity management platform
- Responsible for general legal entity management platform maintenance for clients, including uploading completed filings and documents, and updating data, corporate registers, the status of registrations and certain fields in the platform
- Ensure timely and accurate generation of compliance reports
- Support client related tasks on an ad hoc basis
- Undertake projects and other responsibilities as assigned, including the processing of invoices and the handling of monthly credit card reconciliation
Education and Experience
