About The Role

The Software Developer Co-op writes front and back-end code that drives ITRG products. They will learn how to work in a product development team; write code that powers/drives ITRG products (front and back end) and learn from various Sr. Developers to improve development skills.

Key Activities/Tasks

• Completes development coding and testing using Ruby on Rails.
• Participates in sprint and feature planning. Sits in on sessions. Takes product vendor requirements and designs solutions.
• Participates in code reviews.
  
  

Education And Experience

• College/university degree in progress
• Some experience in programming work through small or hobby projects
  
  

Skills

• Software Development: Ability to code in some language. Does not have to be Ruby on Rails.
• Web Development: Some familiarity. Participates in web development.
• Collaboration: Work is completed within project teams.
• Communication Needs to communicate with stakeholders and project owners.
• Problem Solving: Able to take a business requirement and develop appropriate solution.
