Mission and Goals

As a Product Designer reporting to Lead Product Director of O&O Websites, you will be part of a high-impact team focused on enhancing user experience and driving business results. In this role, you’ll contribute to the design of various page types with an emphasis on improving SEO, conversion rates, and overall UX. You'll also play a key role in building and maintaining design systems that empower the team to scale efficiently, enabling faster iteration and development of new pages.

Objectives

  • Execute and deliver design needs from the O&O Product squad to support roadmap and other priorities on a weekly basis at the highest possible levels of quality and impact.
  • Meet weekly with all designers together for alignment, while sharing insights and best practices.
  • Focus at least 80% of your efforts on design projects, with the remaining to connect with all designers, sharing successes and data to drive improved output.
  • Collaborate squad leaders who have designers on their teams to support consistency in the design team’s output.
  • Provide design standards, style sheets, and act as a subject matter expertise across GBR brands, implementing best practices for UI/UX.
  • Build strong relationships with Product Leads by meeting monthly on the Design’s team output with all designers
  • Engage with Gen Digital’s design leaders to ensure the entire Design team stays connected and involved in global trainings and programs.


Competencies

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Product Designer, preferably within the advertising or digital media space
  • Familiar with identifying opportunities, taking initiative, and driving projects forward with urgency and focus
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align design decisions with strategic goals
  • Excellent collaboration skills with a proven ability to work cross-functionally with other teams and stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a data-informed approach to design
  • Deep expertise in user experience (UX) design, including user research, prototyping, and usability testing
