Description

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and proactive Product Operations Analyst to ensure a seamless and reliable shipping experience for millions of buyers and sellers worldwide.

This role is at the intersection of logistics, technology, and marketplace operations, and part of the shipping product management organization. Shipping is one of the most complex and high-impact areas of eCommerce, and relies on tracking data from global carriers to power estimated delivery dates, notify buyers of their shipments, dispute resolutions, fraud prevention, and seller performance metrics.

You will play a key role in monitoring shipping data, identifying issues, and working across teams to drive continuous improvements.

• Monitor and analyze shipping performance – Identify trends, disruptions, and opportunities in package tracking and delivery estimates.
• Solve operational challenges at scale – Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, customer support, risk, and external partners to resolve shipping data issues.
• Collaborate with external partners – Engage directly with carriers and tracking aggregators to diagnose and fix integration problems.
• Optimize and automate processes – Identify inefficiencies in workflows and recommend improvements to enhance system reliability and data quality.
• Drive insights with data – Use SQL and analytical tools to investigate patterns and root causes of shipping defects, improving buyer and seller experiences.
• Support carrier integrations – Ensure smooth onboarding of new carrier partners, validating tracking accuracy and reliability.
  
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a Business Operations Analyst or Business Analyst role
• The ideal candidate will be able to communicate clearly in regards to their problem-solving skills. For example, candidates need to be able to speak about a time they solved a business problem that had a major impact on the business. Need to clearly communicate what the business challenge one and the steps they took to resolve it.
• Strong analytical skills - Advanced SQL proficiency
• Excellent problem-solving abilities – Ability to break down complex shipping issues, diagnose root causes, and drive resolution.
• Exceptional communication skills – Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across global teams.
• Operational mindset – Ability to juggle multiple priorities, cut through ambiguity, and execute structured decision-making.
• Cross-functional collaboration – Experience working with product managers, engineers, customer service, and external partners.
  
  
  

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
