Description

Performance Systems Development (PSD) is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the development and implementation of utility and statewide programs aimed at reducing energy consumption, lowering costs, and promoting sustainability. This role involves strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, project management, marketing planning, and program evaluation, as well as managing small teams of employees.

As a Program Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Program Strategy & Development: Create and implement strategies for energy efficiency programs aligned with organizational goals, informed by market trends and regulations.
  • Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver energy projects on time and within budget, managing resources and tracking milestones.
  • Performance Monitoring: Set KPIs, track program outcomes, and report progress and insights to stakeholders for continuous improvement.
  • Outreach & Marketing: Build partnerships, conduct stakeholder engagement, and lead educational outreach and marketing campaigns to boost program adoption.
  • Technical & Software Support: Provide input on software upgrades, collaborate on development documentation, and manage user acceptance testing.

This position reports to the Director of Program Delivery and plays a key role in helping PSD achieve our mission.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years’ experience providing management leadership for utility programs
  • A can-do attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Strong client relationship and team management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Strong computer skills: Full MS Office Suite, and general computer capabilities

Additional Details

  • Physical Demands: Frequent computer use requiring periods of sitting and close audio-visual concentration.
  • Work Environment: Office work performed in a collaborative environment with a high degree of independence.
  • Travel Requirements: Occasional travel as needed
