The Director of Partner Operations is a leadership role working in collaboration with the Partner, Sales and Marketing organizations to design, execute and optimize the multi-channel strategies to grow Summit’s Application Managed Services, Colocation and Managed Infrastructure Services business. This role will have responsibility and ownership for all operational components of Summit’s Partner organization including the AMS Partner Mgrs, Partner Operations team, partner focused tools and partner focused back office functions. The Director of Partner Operations is a critical stakeholder in driving the Partner Organization to achieve its goals in partner acquisition & enablement and partner delivered pipeline and revenue targets.

The Director of Partner Operations is a leadership role working in collaboration with the Partner, Sales and Marketing organizations to design, execute and optimize the multi-channel strategies to grow Summit’s Application Managed Services, Colocation and Managed Infrastructure Services business. This role will have responsibility and ownership for all operational components of Summit’s Partner organization including the AMS Partner Mgrs, Partner Operations team, partner focused tools and partner focused back office functions. The Director of Partner Operations is a critical stakeholder in driving the Partner Organization to achieve its goals in partner acquisition & enablement and partner delivered pipeline and revenue targets.
Do:
- Collaborate with senior Summit leadership to design and optimize Summit’s Partner Program in support of the achieving Summit’s business objectives and strategies
- Develop and optimize content and processes to optimize the Partner Manager’s abilities to prospect and develop new potential partners through event, marketing or relationship strategies
- Collaborate with Partner Managers and Partner Marketing to build and execute territory specific strategies to enable and grow Summit business with existing Summit partners
- Design, maintain and optimize the Partner Relationship Management (PRM) platform to ensure partners can have market leading experience for onboarding, training, sales enablement, deal registration and management and financial transparency
- Interface with Finance and RevOps to ensure the entire lifecycle of a deal from ingest to commissions calculation is operational and accurate
- Monitor partner satisfaction and elevate issues of dissatisfaction for quick resolution
- Participate in strategic partner planning, development, & execution. Identify KPIs to ensure partner progression
- Achieve Partner organization targets for partner acquisition, opportunity pipeline and closed revenue
- Dashboards, Reports and metrics on the performance of the partner program with detail on campaigns, customer engagement, and sales results, providing actionable insights for Partner Mgrs and Partner & Corporate Marketing
- Effective frameworks, tools and programs to ensure that Partner Managers execute effective partner recruitment, onboarding and enablement
- Support Partner Managers to build and execute partner sales & marketing plans that result in measurable impact and align with business objectives
- An optimized Partner Relationship Management platform experience for the Partner organization and Summit Partners in support of internal and external objectives
- Executive level readout on Partner Program performance and goal achievement
- 10+ years sales operations experience in B2B Technology businesses
- 10+ years experience working in technology channels or partner organizations
- Experience working with SaaS, Application Managed Services or MSP’s would be a preferred
- Experience working with advanced CRM or PRM platforms such as Salesforce, etc
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Strong collaboration and cross-matrix organization orientation and ability to develop and optimize partnership across multiple internal teams
- Management and leadership experience leading teams in a high growth environment
- Strong work ethic and commitment to integrity
- Ability to travel a minimum of 25% and up to 50% may be required

Salary: $120K – $155K
