We are Spliced Inc. and we’re looking for an Online/Networking Engineer.

The Role

Fantastic opportunity to play a critical role in developing and maintaining our games core engine systems technology, tailoring and optimizing it to deliver the best experience for our players.

Do you enjoy working with highly flexible and scalable code? Is diagnosing and optimizing server performance one of your forte’s? Our game is ambitious and expansive. It’s unlikely you will have come across the challenges that we're working to overcome, so flexing your problem solving skills will be paramount. Additionally:

• Profile, optimize and maintain the memory, bandwidth, performance, and other core metrics
• Define efficient replication paradigms to be utilized by design for a wide range of gameplay experiences
• Be a driving force behind session search (matchmaking) and social interactions
• Integrate and interface with in-house web services for optimized persistent data retrieval.

About You:

• Deep knowledge of engine and hardware architectures, optimization strategies, profiling tools and multi-threaded programming
• Passionate about performance optimization and facilitating efficient team workflows
• Computer science degree or equivalent hands on AAA experience
• Demonstrable experience of professional software development experience, working on multi-discipline teams
• Solid understand of and, working with memory, performance, and other low level systems
• Unreal 4+ experience
• Experience shipping AAA console games.
