About The Role

The VP of Growth will be at the forefront of the company driving the overall growth strategy for the renter-facing business. This hands-on leader will own and execute strategies to drive user acquisition, retention, and engagement - managing a significant performance marketing budget while building out scalable, sustainable organic growth engines. Youʼll lead a team of marketers and collaborate cross-functionally to unlock new growth levers and accelerate our business.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role reporting to the CEO, with a strong emphasis on experimentation, data, and strategic execution. This is a remote role—work from anywhere in the U.S.

  • Manage and optimize a $40M performance marketing budget to deliver efficient growth across Google, Meta, mobile, and emerging paid channels.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of 5-10 growth marketers with a focus on data-driven execution and continuous learning.
  • Partner closely with Product, Data, Brand, and Engineering teams to execute demand-driving campaigns and growth experiments.
  • Stand up and scale new growth channels from scratch, and continuously test new strategies to uncover opportunities.
  • Conduct data analysis to uncover insights into user behavior, campaign performance, and market trends.
  • Own lifecycle marketing efforts across email, push, and SMS to improve activation, engagement, and retention.
  • Champion a culture of rapid experimentation, measurement, and iteration.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a growth-focused marketing role with ownership of acquisition and retention across paid and organic channels.
  • Deep understanding of SEO, referral programs, content-driven growth, and performance marketing.
  • Experience launching and scaling new growth channels and optimizing the full funnel.
  • Lifecycle marketing expertise across email, push, and SMS.
  • Strong analytical mindset; familiarity with tools like SQL, Looker, or Google Data Studio is a plus.
  • Experience with A/B testing, funnel optimization, and user engagement strategies.
  • Collaborative and entrepreneurial—thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
  • Exceptional project management and decision-making skills.
  • Marketplace or two-sided platform experience is a plus.
