We have a terrific new permanent opportunity for a M365 Migration Analyst here at AMTRA Solutions. In this position, you will spend your time delivering large-scale document migrations from legacy Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems to M365. This role involves extraction, analysis, and preparation of large migration data sets and hands-on migration execution.

You will be supported through project delivery by a full project team, including Solution Architects, Technical Architects, Project Managers, and Adoption Change Management specialists. Your performance will be measured executing successful end-to-end document migrations for Enterprise customers. This is a remote position, with the opportunity to leverage AMTRA’s office space in Calgary.


The main areas of responsibility include:

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with AMTRA’s delivery team to:
  • Understand and finalize customer migration requirements.
  • Extract customer migration data and leverage existing tooling and data analysis techniques to identify required remediation, prepare the data for migration, and to ensure the M365 destination structure is built to specification.
  • Complete data mapping, translation, and validation.
  • Coordinate and execute migration tasks, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Support and remediate data migration issues as required.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and mapping.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL server and the ability to write and optimize complex queries.
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale data / document migrations.
  • Familiarity with on-premises server infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with using M365, including SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.


The following are considered an asset:

  • M365 administration or configuration experience.
  • Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) administration or configuration experience.
  • Experience with legacy Enterprise Content Management systems, such as OpenText Livelink or Highland Onbase.
