The fast fashion industry is the second worst industry for the environment after the oil & gas industry - it presents environmental and social challenges that undermine the sustainability of our cities and communities. Fashion is responsible for approximately 10% of global carbon dioxide emissions, surpassing the combined emissions from all international flights and maritime shipping and it will skyrocket to 50% by 2030 if nothing changes. Additionally, it consumes vast amounts of water, with the production of a single T-shirt requiring over 2,000 liters, enough for one person to drink 8 cups a day for 3 1/2 years. The rapid production cycles and emphasis on disposable clothing contribute to substantial textile waste, with millions of tons ending up in landfills annually.

rax is redefining fashion consumption by addressing the environmental and social challenges posed by the fast fashion industry. In an era dominated by social media "hauls" and the relentless pursuit of new trends, consumers often purchase new outfits for every event, leading to overproduction and environmental degradation. rax offers a sustainable alternative by enabling users to rent existing garments from others' closets, thereby reducing the demand for new clothing production. This model not only minimizes textile waste but also conserves resources, contributing to a circular economy. Notably, each rental on rax results in an approximate 8% reduction in water usage, waste generation, and carbon emissions compared to purchasing new items. By facilitating wardrobe sharing, rax fosters community engagement and encourages sustainable consumption patterns, aligning with the principles of sustainable urban development.R

We’re building the fashion platform for the next generation—and we’re looking for a content creator to bring that story to life.L

e're looking for a fashion-savvy, trend-aware, on-camera content creator to help rax grow on TikTok and Instagram. You’ll ideate, shoot, and edit short-form video content that’s entertaining, stylish, and drives engagement and app downloads.K

ey Responsibilities:C

• reate 3–5 engaging TikTok and/or Instagram Reels per week reacting to trends, fashion pop culture, listings on rax etc.S
• tay on top of Gen Z fashion and social trends and turn them into relevant content ideas for rax.B
• e comfortable on camera—whether doing try-ons, voiceovers, or acting in TikTok trends.C
• ollaborate with the founder and team to align content with marketing and brand goals.H
• elp grow rax’s social presence and community through relatable and value-driven storytelling.W

hat We’re Looking For:P

• assion for fashion, style, and sustainability.S
• trong understanding of TikTok/Instagram trends and how to apply them to branded content.C
• omfortable being the face of content (not afraid of the camera!).A
• bility to shoot and edit vertical video on your phone using apps like CapCut, InShot, or native platform tools.B
