Overview
CyberPro is seeking a Cybersecurity mangement analyst to support the Office of Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP)within the Office of Preparedness, part of the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). This high-impact role involves coordinating cybersecurity efforts across the Healthcare and Public Health (HPH) Sector to enhance critical infrastructure resilience in alignment with federal directives such as Presidential Policy Directive 21 and the National Infrastructure Protection Plan (NIPP).
This position plays a key role in incident response coordination, partner engagement, and information sharing between federal agencies and private sector stakeholders. It requires strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage sensitive or classified information in a mission-driven environment.
Schedule: Remote (with ability to report onsite as needed) or Hybrid

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cybersecurity incident response coordination efforts for the HPH Sector under ASPR's role as the Sector Risk Management Agency (SRMA).
- Serve as the primary liaison with federal partners (e.g., CISA, FBI) and private sector stakeholders to promote collaboration and rapid information sharing.
- Assess and respond to incoming cyber incidents by applying HPH SRMA doctrine and guidelines for threat evaluation and reporting.
- Conduct risk and threat analyses, including identification of adversary Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and Indicators of Compromise (IOCs).
- Process and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) related to cyber threats, coordinating internal reviews and responses as needed.
- Support incident tracking and documentation through the full incident lifecycle to ensure timely response and recovery coordination.
- Represent ASPR and CIP in classified cybersecurity discussions, including support for information-sharing efforts beyond the unclassified level.
- Support the development of HPH-specific cyber initiatives and campaigns, including interagency efforts like the CISA-FBI Joint Ransomware Task Force Campaign Plan.
- Collaborate with CIP and broader ASPR teams to align cybersecurity protection goals with critical infrastructure resilience strategies.
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4-6 years of experience
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Ability to process actions in a timely manner;
- Excellent professional communication skills, both oral and written
- Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability;
- Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently;
- Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Favorable adjudicated Tier2 investigation and be able to obtain and maintain a minimum Secret Clearance
- Graduate degree in cybersecurity, information systems, emergency management, or related discipline.
- Direct experience in cybersecurity coordination within public health, emergency response, or federal infrastructure protection environments.
- Experience working within HHS or related federal agencies.
- Familiarity with classified cyber threat protocols and interagency coordination.
- Demonstrated leadership in public/private sector cybersecurity initiatives.
- Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
