Job Summary:

The Project Manager determines user demands, establishes work priorities, and plans, directs, and monitors project work. This position includes support of business planning requirements including, but not limited to, budgeting, scheduling, and workload planning. This position will oversee all aspects of projects, set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Share comprehensive project plans with internal client and associated staff
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop and maintain relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress, create, and maintain documentation, and to allow for adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Communicate plan with client and all stakeholders
  • Determine budgetary implications and perform financial analysis throughout to ensure project is withing defined constraints
  • Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget including successful completion of short and long-term goals defined in project schedule
  • Manage and update changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Regularly perform risk analysis to minimize impact of potential risk
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors

Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Four years of implementation/project management experience, with at least 2 years of experience in a healthcare or third-party administrator setting
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of and experience in direct customer service, project management, resource management, and/or benefits administration highly desired.
  • Experience managing client relationships both virtually and face to face.
  • Experience in collaborating with leadership in a sales and service environment.
  • Proven leadership ability in creating and maintaining a work environment where others are motivated/inspired to take action and deliver service excellence.
  • Proven ability to manage client escalations to timely resolution resulting in increased client satisfaction and retention.
  • Experience with, knowledge of, and ability to apply excellent customer service practices
  • Experience in process improvement, change management and overall operational excellence
  • Ability in using a computer which includes expert keyboard and navigation skills and learning new programs.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external customers.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve established outcomes. Understand other’s roles and empower one another to take responsibility to be successful.
  • Demonstrate a collaborative interaction with peers to reach a common goal as well as be a resource to team members and internal/external customers
  • Pay close attention to detail in all aspects of the job
  • Make decisions using available resources and sound judgment
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyzes information skillfully
  • Open to other’s ideas and exhibits a willingness to try new things.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; monitor work to ensure quality.

Pay may vary based on location. Offers will be adjusted based on an individual's experience, education, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. Pay range is $95,000-$150,000/year
