The Director of Product will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and delivering innovative products that meet the needs of our healthcare partners. This role requires a knowledge of the healthcare industry, a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and an entrepreneurial bent.
Key Responsibilities:
The salary range for this role is $180,000 to $220,000. We pride ourselves on providing meaningful equity as part of our compensation as well. This salary represents the middle to the high end of market data across different geographies. We consider several factors when determining compensation, including location, experience, and the role’s responsibilities. Salary/OTE is just one component of Qventus’ total rewards package. The Director of Product will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and delivering innovative products that meet the needs of our healthcare partners. This role requires a knowledge of the healthcare industry, a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and an entrepreneurial bent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with market trends, customer needs and Qventus' mission and business goals. Identify market opportunities and define the product roadmap to capitalize on them.
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product professionals. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the product team.
- Market and User Research: Conduct market analysis and gather customer feedback to identify trends, needs, and opportunities. Ensure that products meet market demands and exceed customer expectations.
- Product Development: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch. Collaborate with engineering, design, customer success, marketing, and sales teams.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry experts. Act as the primary advocate for the product both within and outside the organization.
- Metrics and Performance: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize product performance.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Public Health, Business). MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of successfully bringing complex software products to market.
- Collaboration: Proven track record of collaboration across all functions in an enterprise SaaS healthcare technology business
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals. Experience in building and inspiring high-performing product management teams, with business cases and metrics as proof of results.
- Technical Acumen: Solid technical background with a deep understanding of product management tools and processes, including proficiency in agile methodologies, market research techniques, data analysis and the ability to engage in detailed technical discussions and make informed decisions.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. Ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
- Healthcare Industry Knowledge (nice to have): Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, including hospital operations, clinical workflows, and regulatory requirements. Experience with AI and automation technologies is highly desirable.
