Letter Of Credit Analyst

Our client is looking for a Analyst with a background working directly with Letter of Credit.

• Review and Process Letters of Credit:
• Examine and verify the accuracy of letters of credit applications and supporting documents.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and bank policies.
• Risk Assessment:
• Conduct thorough risk assessments of credit applications.
• Evaluate the financial stability and creditworthiness of applicants.
• Documentation and Record Keeping:
• Maintain detailed records of all transactions and communications.
• Prepare and submit necessary documentation for approval.
• Customer Interaction:
• Communicate with clients to gather required information and clarify details.
• Provide guidance and support to clients regarding letter of credit procedures.
• Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
• Ensure all transactions comply with relevant laws and regulations, including anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
• Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with other departments, such as treasury, legal, and risk management, to ensure seamless processing of letters of credit.
• Coordinate with international banks and financial institutions for cross-border transactions.
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Generate reports on letter of credit activities and present findings to management.
• Analyze trends and provide insights to improve processes and mitigate risks.

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
