Position Summary

Our Care Coordinator plays a pivotal role at ADVENT guiding patients through the Patient Journey by using a consultative approach. They use an entrepreneurial mindset to identify ways that help ADVENT’s patients navigate the clinical process coupled with the financial requirements to ensure a smooth treatment process. At each stage of the sales cycle the Care Coordinator communicates to the patient the importance of the set treatment plan in partnership with the MD and reviews financial costs. They will introduce deposits and financial options while working to help each patient reach their goal of living better.

  • Act as direct contact for patients through their recommended procedures
  • Overcome barriers or hesitations, to move Patients forward in their Journey
  • Manage cancellation and no-show, giving personalized attempts for reschedule
  • Prep all Sinus CT Scan Patient appointments with financial quotes and insurance benefit information for easy scheduling and forward progress of Patient Journey for procedure
  • Facilitate patient communication for their procedures, including insurance benefits/deposits, authorization status, out-of-pocket costs, finance options, and pre- and post-operative instructions
  • Collaborate across departments including clinical and reimbursement to ensure overall success with a high focus on our complete Patient Journey. This may include assisting other functions within operations when needed and participating in tactical or company meetings.
  • Support the overall vision of the organization and perform other related duties as requested by leadership.
  • Plan and adapt with business growth and strategy, cross-training where necessary to accommodate different situations and locations. This may include virtual and/or traveling support in other market clinics or markets. Potential need to periodically work in clinics outside home market
  • Provide patient education, coordination, and scheduling for sinus procedures
  • Function as primary liaison between patients, staff, and physicians
  • Must live in the Milwaukee or Chicago Markets

Skills And Qualifications

  • Best in Class Client/Customer Engagement experience in a sales driven environment
  • Experience with treatment outcomes inside sales required
  • Ability to manage cost conversations with patients
  • Experience with insurance and out-of-pocket patient responsibility preferred
  • High comfort level with medical terminology and comfortable with collaboration with MDs.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills, and organizational agility
