To help accelerate our growth and pace of delivery, we are looking for talented Lead Data Scientist to help spearhead the overall look and feel of our features and services.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Data Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling to drive insights and solve complex business problems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that enhance decision-making and optimize business performance.

What you'll be doing:

  • Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement
  • Machine Learning Models: Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning models to solve specific business challenges
  • Statistical Modeling: Use advanced statistical techniques to validate hypotheses and support data-driven decision-making
  • Data Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and define a data strategy that aligns with organizational objectives
  • ETL & Data Preparation: Design and build efficient data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from multiple sources
  • Visualization: Create intuitive and impactful visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Research & Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning to propose innovative solutions
  • Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team members
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, product managers, and domain experts to ensure alignment between data science efforts and business priorities


What you’ll need:

  • Experience: At least 5-7 years of professional experience in data science or a related role
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
  • Expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL)
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib)
  • Mathematical Skills: In-depth knowledge of statistics, probability, and linear algebra
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business problems into data science solutions
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge of MLOps practices for deploying and maintaining machine learning models in production
  • Prior experience leading data science projects or managing teams
