Job Summary
Kaukahi, LLC is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to
join our dynamic team. This position plays a critical role in supporting the
visual communication needs, with responsibilities spanning from design to
production. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in graphic
design, and print production, preferably within a master planning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Create high-quality illustrations and graphic designs for a variety of
documents and training purposes. Design layouts using standard grid
principles, adhering to correct aspect ratios and material specifications to
meet customer requirements. Convert slides, photos, and negatives into
digital formats (e.g., JPEG, PDF), and securely transfer large files
using DoD SAFE or equivalent platforms. Produce a wide range of graphics
products including overhead transparencies, maps, posters, 2D/3D
displays, charts, flyers, and laminations. Operate and maintain
large-format printing, mounting, and laminating equipment to support
production needs. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures
(SOPs) related to graphic production processes and workflows. Compensation

Job Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
High school education or GED required Minimum 3-5 years of experience in
illustration and graphic design, preferably in a military master planning
setting. Proficient in graphic design software and tools (e.g., Adobe
Creative Suite, CorelDRAW, or equivalent). Experience in large-format
printing and finishing processes (mounting, lamination, etc.). Strong
attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in
a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated understanding of design principles
including color theory, typography, and layout. Familiarity with secure
file transfer protocols, such as DoD SAFE.
Location: Remote
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position
may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient
mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling
to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include
lifting weight up to 25 pounds as necessary. Optional: Physically able to
walk or stand for more than 6 hours per day
Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time.
