This client — an agency that leads with concept-first creative and data-informed storytelling — is looking for a Senior Social Media Strategist who can bring vision, clarity, and sharp strategic instincts to some of the most culturally resonant brands around.
This role will partner closely with internal creatives, community managers, and clients to develop social-first campaign strategies, guide platform-specific creative decisions, and inspire breakthrough social content that’s both thumb-stopping and results-driven.
What You'll Be Doing...

This role will partner closely with internal creatives, community managers, and clients to develop social-first campaign strategies, guide platform-specific creative decisions, and inspire breakthrough social content that’s both thumb-stopping and results-driven.
What You'll Be Doing...
- Lead the development of comprehensive, insight-driven social strategies for the agency and its clients — ensuring alignment with broader brand goals and campaign objectives.
- Leverage Sprinklr for publishing, analytics, social listening, and reporting — ensuring best practices and data integrity across client work.
- Translate cultural trends, behavioral insights, and platform evolution into meaningful creative direction.
- Create, oversee, and continuously evolve editorial content calendars, optimizing cadence, themes, and formats for performance.
- Collaborate with creatives to concept and execute social campaigns that feel native to platforms but elevated in craft.
- Guide community managers on tone, engagement best practices, and voice evolution, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
- Track, analyze, and synthesize performance data to inform optimizations, monthly reporting, and strategic pivots.
- Present strategic recommendations and performance reports to clients with clarity, confidence, and context.
- 5+ years of experience in social strategy or social-first brand marketing, ideally within an agency or fast-moving creative environment
- A sharp eye for storytelling, brand voice, and audience behavior across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, and emerging platforms
- Hands-on experience with Sprinklr — including publishing, analytics, social listening, and reporting workflows
- Experience with building and defending creative briefs grounded in data, culture, and platform nuance
- A natural collaborator who can align cross-functional teams — creative, analytics, production, client — around a shared social vision
- Exceptional writing and communication skills; you understand tone, nuance, and how to guide brands in having conversations, not just making posts
- Hands-on experience with native and third-party analytics tools; you love finding patterns, insights, and meaning in data
- A curious, proactive, detail-oriented thinker with a love for creative that earns attention and drives impact
- Start date: ASAP
- Compensation: $80–$120/hour
- Duration: Ongoing, with varying hours from month to month
- Location: Remote (US only). Preference for Austin-based candidates, but the team is open to the best fit, wherever you are in the U.S.
