We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure on AWS, managing CI/CD pipelines, and supporting our development teams with efficient deployment processes. You will also contribute to our data engineering initiatives using AWS managed services and low-code/no-code solutions.

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure on AWS, managing CI/CD pipelines, and supporting our development teams with efficient deployment processes. You will also contribute to our data engineering initiatives using AWS managed services and low-code/no-code solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools and practices
- Collaborate with development teams to establish and enforce GitHub branching strategies and merging processes
- Configure and manage AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance in cloud environments
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational standards
- Support microservices architecture by establishing deployment patterns and container orchestration
- Assist in data engineering initiatives using AWS managed services and low-code/no-code solutions
- Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems
- Document processes, configurations, and architecture decisions
- 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, and CloudFormation/CDK
- Proficiency in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline
- Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
- Experience with microservices architecture and API-centric application design
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and observability practices
- Solid understanding of GitHub branching strategies, pull requests, and code review processes
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
- Experience with AWS managed services for data processing (Glue, Athena, EMR)
- Familiarity with low-code/no-code solutions such as AWS Amplify, AppFlow, or Step Functions
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or equivalent)
- Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven systems
- Knowledge of database management and optimization
- Understanding of network configurations in cloud environments
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and methodologies
- Familiarity with Agile development practices
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently when needed
- Continuous learner who stays updated with emerging technologies
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and security
