Responsibilities:
- Drives the resolution, collection and disposition of unpaid invoices
- Fill in for AR billing specialists as required
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of invoices, including billable hours, and partner-specific billing arrangements.
- Oversee month-end and year-end AR closing activities.
- Manage and supervise the accounts receivable team, reviewing work with Partners and Senior Managers on the invoicing process to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Assists the finance and accounting department with billing, tracking, and collections of accounts due and reconciling conflicts
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and implement effective collection strategies
- Ensure GL accounts are reconciled and discrepancies are corrected
- Coordinate with teams and stakeholders to address billing issues and disputes
- Prepare and present regular accounts receivable reports to senior management
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
- Understanding of revenue recognition principles according to relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting
- 10+ years' experience working with Accounts Receivable
- Managerial/Leadership experience
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
