About The Role
The Software Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for assuring that LeadingReach’s products are held to a high standard of quality by writing test cases/test plans, duplicating and reporting defects, and being an integral member of the development team. The person in this role will have a good understanding of software development testing methods and best practices that affect the quality and security of LeadingReach’s applications and systems. As such, deep product knowledge of the various LeadingReach applications and a high level of communication and teamwork are expected.

The person in this role will have a good understanding of software development testing methods and best practices that affect the quality and security of LeadingReach’s applications and systems. As such, deep product knowledge of the various LeadingReach applications and a high level of communication and teamwork are expected.
What You Need
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent in applicable work experience. Preferred degrees: CS or BA in CS, MIS, IFSM or related fields. Other degree considerations: EE, Mathematics, or other engineering disciplines. Will substitute degree for work experience if work experience is applicable in an IT related field
- Minimum (3) years working as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst or Software Developer or other related IT field
- Experience testing RESTful APIs and Single Web Page applications
- Experience using Chrome development tools/Firefox/IE/Edge debugging tools
- Experience writing SQL statements (select, insert, update, delete, JOINs…etc.)
- Experience using MySQL Workbench or a similar tool like MS Query Analyzer
- Working knowledge using JIRA for creating and maintaining user stories or a similar tool (Rally)
- Experience with Scrum and Kanban or similar Agile development methodologies
- Proven experience designing and executing automated tests using Mabl or equivalent platforms is a plus
- Experience in healthcare domain with knowledge of HIPAA, HL7, CCD, WCAG compliance, etc. a plus
- Proficient in writing test cases and documenting defects to support quality assurance efforts
- Intermediate-level expertise in QA testing methodologies and application of industry best practices
- Intermediate level with JIRA or similar tool like Rally
- Basic knowledge of Confluence
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of Chrome development tools/Firefox debug tools
- Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and workflows preferred
- Experience with Agile development practices
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work concurrently on multiple tasks

- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Thorough, precise and have a strong eye for detail
- Work well independently as well as within a dynamic team
- Have a passion for “breaking things” and a desire to learn from each QA task
