Role Overview
As Director of Partnership Sales, you’ll lead Trashie’s growth in B2B distribution channels for the Take Back Bag. This high-impact, individual contributor role is perfect for a strategic, consultative seller who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, you’ll be responsible for identifying, securing, and growing revenue-generating partnerships across a wide range of industries—from retail and sports to real estate and enterprise.

As Director of Partnership Sales, you’ll lead Trashie’s growth in B2B distribution channels for the Take Back Bag. This high-impact, individual contributor role is perfect for a strategic, consultative seller who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, you’ll be responsible for identifying, securing, and growing revenue-generating partnerships across a wide range of industries—from retail and sports to real estate and enterprise.
This role is more than sales—it’s about building scalable impact. You’ll bring a deep understanding of how to introduce innovative products into the market, forge strong relationships, and drive revenue while doing good for the planet.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive B2B distribution of Trashie’s Take Back Bags.
- Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities across multiple verticals: Retail, Professional Sports, Real Estate, Corporate Enterprise and more.
- Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and pitching to negotiating and closing.
- Establish long-term relationships with decision-makers (e.g., CMOs, VP Marketing, VP Ecomm, Retail Buyers).
- Collaborate closely with internal teams across Customer Success, Marketing, Data and Product, Finance and Legal.
- Contribute to the evolution of internal sales processes and strategic planning.
- Represent Trashie at industry events, conferences, and in-person meetings (travel required quarterly, with increased frequency during peak seasons).
- 7–10+ years in Partnerships, Channel Sales, or Business Development, with a strong record of introducing new offerings to diverse markets.
- Demonstrated success selling to consumer-facing industries (Retail, CPG, Lifestyle, etc.).
- Strong network and experience selling to key decision-makers in target sectors.
- Self-starter with the ability to independently generate leads and drive results.
- Skilled negotiator with a consultative, relationship-driven sales approach.
- Exceptional communicator who can distill complex ideas into compelling pitches.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment—wearing multiple hats when needed.
