Description

Responsible for managing product strategy for 3rd party eCommerce marketplaces and creating a world-class digital brand and shopping experience for consumers. This person will build, manage, and lead the eCommerce experience across the B2B and B2C marketplaces and apps, responsible for product management, promotions, inventory management, development roadmaps, product experiences, merchandising, content UX, UI, Design, testing, and Analytics.

Requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive eCommerce strategy leveraging our website(s) and 3rd party platforms
  • Manage e-commerce partners, including listing design, online advertising campaigns, and reputation management.
  • Utilize the experience of operating an eCommerce business to identify, recommend, and execute strategies and tactics to further elevate the experience
  • Ensure an exciting and evolving digital customer experience with a focus on storytelling through our product and digital capabilities with emphasis on emerging capabilities-driven commerce in the owned channels and integration with social media and third-party e-commerce platforms
  • Deliver on Greenlane’s ambitious eCommerce revenue targets
  • Build cross-functional relationships with Brand Marketing, Creative, Sales, and Product teams to ensure alignment across e-commerce initiatives
  • Develop the nascent Product Management function to drive strategy and consistency into all core marketplace experiences
  • Closely works with cross-departmental teams to create an industry-leading shopping experience that bridges the gap between B2B, B2C & DTC 3rd party platforms and marketplaces
  • Work with the Product department to execute and optimize the online assortment while delivering seasonal promotions and price management, product, and content/story presentation.
  • Keenly focused on elevating the brand presentation of our products and services while looking for synergies between B2C, B2B & D2C channels
  • Drive affiliate performance marketing opportunities to deliver upon new customer acquisition and customer retention goals as key enablers of planned top-line growth.
  • Effectively collaborates with technical teams to meet the needs of our consumers with broad implementation of personalized experiences
  • Oversee continuous Test & Learn effort
  • Collaborate with Marketing to make SEO a true priority to gain authority in necessary areas
  • Make data-driven decisions while constantly testing and learning and consistently providing post-program ROI analysis paired with consumer insights to make recommendations to increase sales and drive a premium brand experience
  • Other duties as assigned by manager or designee.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Digital Strategy - shows visionary thinking and demonstrates expert knowledge to solve complex, organization-wide, or externally facing issues

  • Storyteller – understands merchandising, content, design and user experience to create the most compelling presentation possible
  • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).
  • Ability to create and manage advertising and marketing strategies.
  • 5+ years E-COMM Marketplace Experience
  • Proven work experience in a relevant role or field.
