This is a hands-on, strategic opportunity to support HR operations in a multi-jurisdictional environment with sites across Canada, the U.S., and Latin America.

Performance Management: Design and implement performance management tools from the ground up to support engagement, feedback, and development.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and complete an HR audit to assess baseline compliance, identify policy gaps, and inform future HR strategy.
  • Support organizational restructuring and provide input on longer-term HR planning.
  • Assess and make recommendations on HRIS systems, with a potential roadmap toward centralized solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline processes and support rebuilding efforts, particularly across Canadian and U.S. operations.

Success Criteria and Qualifications:

  • Designated HR professional (CHRP, CHRL, CPHR, or equivalent)
  • Experience in mining or related sectors such as oil & gas, aggregates, water resource management, forestry, or agribusiness
  • Demonstrated success implementing HR systems and strategies in complex, multi-site environments
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution
  • Experience with HR audits, performance frameworks, and global HR challenges
  • Willingness to travel quarterly to remote site locations
