Job Description

We are seeking a skilled "Quantitative Analyst" to join our team. You will work closely with a dynamic team of data professionals, including Data Scientists, ML DevOps Engineers, and other Quantitative Analysts, to provide data-driven insights that support decision-making within our organization. This role focuses on developing models to optimize operations, improve predictive maintenance, and support key business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement quantitative models to address business problems, including predictive maintenance, lease pricing, and component failure.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and present actionable insights.

Analyze large, complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for operational improvements.

Conduct data mining and investigation to support AI modeling and other AI-based project solutions.

Support and coordinate meetings for various efforts identified on the roadmap, including literacy programming and data science advisory board initiatives.

Skills And Requirements

Advanced knowledge in data governance and data quality standards.

Exceptional presentation and analytical skills.

Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to articulate the complexities of findings to a wide range of audiences and design intuitive visualizations to illustrate and support analysis and recommendations.

Team player with the ability to work collaboratively and comfortably with employees who have diverse skills and experience and are in different geographies and levels within the organization.

Possess an affinity for rigorous data analysis and present data in a manner that provokes thought and new insights, adding value to clients.

Use granular and detailed data to build a holistic view of the world and identify outliers within massive datasets.

Adept at prioritization and project management with attentiveness to detail and consistent follow-through. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in developing and implementing machine learning models.

Knowledge of AI and its applications in business.

Experience in the rail transportation industry or similar fields. null
