About The Role

The Direct Sales Manager is a key leadership role within Moncel’s sales team. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales, this individual will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding Moncel's market presence in Canada, the United States, and Australia.

What You’ll Do

  • Recruit, onboard, and develop a motivated sales team in North America.
  • Design and implement efficient sales processes and workflows.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align strategies and improve lead conversion.
  • Monitor team performance and provide regular coaching and feedback.
  • Manage relationships with key clients and negotiate important deals.
  • Track sales performance using CRM tools and provide actionable insights.
  • Expand market presence by securing partnerships in target regions.
  • Thrive in a changing environment and execute efficiently on evolving strategies.

What You Have

  • Proven experience in leading and managing sales teams.
  • 2-5 years of sales management experience.
  • Knowledge of sales coaching methodologies such as Sandler, Meddic, or others.
  • Expert level proficiency in Salesforce, Outreach, Apollo, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and decision-making.
  • Excellent client relationship management and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to optimize sales processes and drive team performance.
  • Experience in aligning sales and marketing efforts.
  • Experience working in an early-stage startup (Bootstrap, Seed, Series A/B).
  • Skills in coaching, mentorship, and team development.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in sales management.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience working in international markets, particularly North America.
  • Certification in Salesforce or other CRM platforms is a plus.
  • Experience working in an early stage start up (Bootstrap, Seed, Series A/B).
  • Demonstrated success in client retention and partnership development.
  • Previous experience in training and developing sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts and strategies.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for in-person meetings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
