Program Overview

About The Role

Peraton is seeking a Technical Trainer. The ACAS program is seeking a Training Coordinator to oversee the planning, execution, and administration of training programs. This role involves managing student registrations, coordinating logistics, developing instructional materials, and ensuring seamless virtual and in-person training experiences. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in digital learning environments while engaging with students and training staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Coordination and Student Support

Facilitate and coordinate virtual and in-person training sessions.

Serve as the primary point of contact for students, answering inquiries and providing guidance throughout the training process.

Ensure a smooth training experience by managing logistics and addressing technical or administrative issues.

Assist students with obtaining course completion certificates and training documentation.

Program Development and Content Creation

Develop training materials, instructional outlines, and assessment tools.

Assist in creating digital learning content, including virtual training videos and interactive learning materials.

Adapt and improve training materials based on feedback and best practices.

Logistics and Training Support

Publish and manage training schedules on designated platforms.

Identify and coordinate training locations (both virtual and in-person).

Confirm training dates with instructors and stakeholders.

Develop, distribute, and manage student surveys for training evaluations.

Registration and Student Management

Administer and maintain the student registration system for course enrollments.

Approve and process registrations, including manual entries when necessary.

Generate and distribute course rosters to instructors and training sites.

Upload and maintain training records and course completion data.

Issue and track course completion certificates and other training documentation.

Reporting and Compliance

Collect and analyze student feedback to improve training programs.

Maintain accurate training records for reporting and compliance purposes.

Follow up on missing training documentation and address any compliance gaps.

Position is subject to contract approval from government.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
  • Ability to Obtain Secret clearance
  • Must be a U.S citizen
  • Customer Service mindset
  • Experience with Microsoft tools
  • Understanding of digital learning environments.
  • Organizational skills are a must.
  • Ability to communicate with multiple different individuals/teams
  • Ability to learn and adapt to varying needs as the video based training project evolves.

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
