Do you love to bring exciting ideas to life through design? Want to rub shoulders with experts discovering the next big thing in computing and AI? Then you might be our next embedded Graphic Designer for Microsoft!

The Graphic Designer will use their design skills and experience to create and deliver innovative on-brand designs to promote upcoming conferences and programs. This is a great opportunity to work with a fast-paced and energized team, while owning design projects from concept through to completion. This role reports to the Director and collaborates closely with Program Managers on the team.

This role is an Embedded Consultant position, which means you’ll sit directly on the Microsoft team to give hands-on support. This remote engagement runs until June 30th with strong potential for renewal until June 30 2026.

While you’ll spend most of your days working directly with your team at Microsoft, 2A offers multiple points of connection to support you in your role and career. We’ll meet with you and your manager regularly to see how we can support the engagement, and you’ll have opportunities to engage with 2A through working groups, community-building events, and professional development opportunities.

  • Provide design support to leadership for high impact presentations
  • Provide support with creation of illustrations, icons, and more
  • Own visual design projects from concept through to final artwork

Skills and qualifications

Need to have

  • Based on the East Coast (do not have to be located in one of the cities mentioned in the job description, as long as you are in the ET time zone)
  • 2+ years of experience in a full-time graphic design role
  • Ability to attend occasional late night or early morning meetings due to global distribution of team
  • Experience working as an in-house designer in a large, global organization

Nice to have

  • Experience working as an in-house designer in a scientific and/or technical environment
