Job Description

An employer is seeking a Penetration Tester to join a large information management company. The successful candidate will primarily work with Veracode, Burp Suite, and Verodin/Mandiant to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and applications. This is a remote position offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge security tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on a variety of systems, applications, and networks.

Utilize tools such as Veracode, Burp Suite, and Verodin/Mandiant to identify, exploit, and document security vulnerabilities.

Collaborate with development teams to provide actionable remediation recommendations and ensure security best practices are integrated into the software development lifecycle.

Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, vulnerabilities, and recommended corrective actions.

Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, techniques, and best practices to continuously improve our security posture.

Participate in incident response activities and assist in the investigation and analysis of security incidents.

$40/hour to $45/hour

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills And Requirements

• 3+ years of penetration testing experience
• Experience working with Burp Suite for security testing and vulnerability assessments
• Strong knowledge of web application security, network security, and common attack vectors
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think like an attacker - Experience working with Veracode, Verodin/Mandiant null
