Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Content & Media Strategy will develop an engaging and strategic full-year content and media calendar designed to maximize the effectiveness of our discovery & trial and loyalty channels. You will create briefs for all creative deliverables, traffic them to the appropriate owner on the Brand & Creative team, and oversee asset development to ensure strategic messaging goals are met. You will apply the latest consumer insights to our media plan, and coordinate media either independently or through an agency. This role is responsible for setting and measuring clear KPIs, reporting results to the Vice President, Brand & Creative regularly, and proactively proposing optimizations.

The Senior Manager, Content & Media Strategy will be a vital member of the Unreal Marketing team and report to the Vice President, Brand & Creative.

What You'll Do

  • Own the development of an annual content and media calendar that aligns with brand priorities and budget, and drives discovery, trial, and loyalty.
  • Write clear, strategic creative briefs and route them to the appropriate Brand & Creative team members for execution.
  • Assess creative assets to ensure they achieve the communications role and strategic messaging priorities outlined in the brief.
  • Lead media planning across paid, owned, and earned channels—either directly or in partnership with agency partners—ensuring each campaign is grounded in current consumer insights.
  • Set and track KPIs for all content and media initiatives, and deliver regular performance reports to the Vice President, Brand & Creative with actionable insights.
  • Continuously optimize content and media strategies and briefs based on performance data, testing results, and evolving brand goals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Innovation, and Digital Hub teams to ensure campaigns are cohesive, effective, and on-brand across every touchpoint.

Who You Are

  • 4–6 years of professional experience in content strategy, media planning, or integrated marketing, ideally within a high-growth consumer brand or agency where agility, experimentation, and resourcefulness are key.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong grasp of both brand storytelling and performance marketing with knowledge on how to bring them together in a cohesive plan.
  • Skilled at writing clear, inspiring creative briefs and a passion for collaborating with creatives to bring ideas to life.
  • Comfortable working with data: setting KPIs, analyzing results, and using insights to guide decision-making and optimizations.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.
  • Have a strong pulse on cultural trends, media behaviors, and content best practices— excited to apply that knowledge to help grow a bold, modern brand.

The base compensation range for this position is between $120,000 - $130,000 annually. This position is also eligible for a 15% bonus. The salary range listed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Individual compensation is determined by additional factors, including role-related experience and relevant education and certifications. Bonus payout is pro-rated to start date. Employees must be employed by September 30 of the calendar year to be eligible for bonus for that calendar year.
