About Blue J

Blue J is the leading solution in generative AI for tax experts. We’re a B2B SaaS company whose customers are accountants and lawyers, and our AI-tax research software is the best in the market.

We are racing ahead with an exciting product development roadmap to continue to delight our customers and to ensure that our users can generate the very best possible tax research answers in the service of their clients in record time.

Since launching our flagship Generative AI product, we have blown past our revenue targets quarter over quarter, and are looking for a Partner Marketing Manager to help us scale. We’ve just announced our Series C funding and are looking for someone to take the reins of our partner marketing efforts bringing creativity, strategy, and organization to the next phase of our growth.

A Note on Location

This is a hybrid role requiring occasional in-person meetings at our Downtown Toronto office a few times each quarter, along with periodic travel to attend partner events across the US. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a collaborative, highly organized Partner Marketing Manager to join our growing team. This role will play a key part in shaping how Blue J shows up in the market through strategic partnerships, and standout events.

You’ll manage end-to-end partner marketing efforts across various campaigns, and events serving as the main marketing point of contact for our partners. You’ll also work closely with our sales and partnerships teams to build strong relationships, track performance, and drive revenue growth all while ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

What You’ll be Doing

  • Plan, execute, and optimize co-branded partner marketing campaigns across channels (email, social media, and more), in collaboration with internal and external teams.
  • Act as the main point of contact for partner marketing teams, building strategic relationships that lead to high-impact collaboration.
  • Provide strategic and hands-on support to partners across various initiatives and correspondence.
  • Own and execute marketing events end-to-end from in-person partner-hosted events to webinars and virtual campaigns.
  • Contribute to the partner marketing budget and measure campaign effectiveness through KPIs and marketing analytics.
  • Work closely with Sales, Partnerships, and our broader Marketing team to align goals and execute campaigns smoothly.
  • Effectively delegate tasks to scale events and campaigns, while balancing multiple priorities and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

What You Offer Blue J

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in SaaS, with a focus on partner marketing or channel marketing.
  • Proven experience owning multi-channel campaigns and event execution.
  • Skilled at building strong relationships, thriving in cross-functional environments and partner-facing roles.
  • Strong project management skills - organized and capable of prioritizing across multiple initiatives.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to balance high-level vision with executional excellence.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.

What We Offer You

  • An incredibly exciting opportunity to be an early team member shaping the partnerships function at a rapidly growing company. We’re building a revolutionary tool from the ground up, and you will have a meaningful role in shaping the team that builds it.
  • We are flexible! Most of the time, you’ll be able to work remotely if you prefer. We have an office in downtown Toronto that we'll ask you to come into a few times a quarter, but outside of that, where you work is up to you!
  • We’re well-funded and offer competitive base salaries and stock options. You’ll play a crucial role in our growth, and it’s important to us that you share in our long-term success.
  • We care about you as a whole person. You’ll have a healthy work/life balance and colleagues who respect it. We’ve mindfully put together a great benefits package that covers you and your family.
  • We’ve got an amazing team. We’re mission-driven and motivated by success, but we’re friendly, we’re collaborative, and we care about each other.
  • We’ve got all the start-up perks you’d expect, and are intentionally building a culture where you can pickleball if you want, feel safe to be yourself at work, and watch your career grow because your team has invested in you.

The Core Values that Define Our Culture

  • We are customer-focused
  • We put the team interest before self-interest
  • We are pleasant and playful
  • We are open to better ideas
  • We deliver on our promises
  • We solve the toughest problems
