Job Summary
Strug Inc. is seeking reliable and motivated drivers to join our team in Ontario. As a Strug Inc. driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently to their destinations while providing excellent customer service. You’ll have the flexibility to set your schedule, and with our low commission of just 8% (excluding taxes), you keep the rest of your earnings.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Safely drive a vehicle to transport passengers to their desired destinations.
- Use Strug Inc.’s app to navigate to pick-up locations and follow routes efficiently.
- Collect fares from passengers, issue receipts when necessary, and ensure passengers have a smooth payment process.
- Provide assistance to passengers with entering or exiting the vehicle and carrying any luggage.
- Communicate with Strug Inc. via the app to receive requests and exchange information regarding passenger services.
- Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, including routine checks (oil, tire pressure, etc.).
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or maintenance needs to Strug Inc. support.
- Follow all safety regulations and state laws governing vehicle operation.
- Assist with providing basic local area information to passengers upon request.
- Handle accident or incident reports when required.
- Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle interior and exterior.
- Valid Ontario driver’s license.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets Strug Inc.’s standards.
- Ability to use a smartphone or tablet with Strug Inc.’s driver app.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A clean driving record with no major violations.
- Ability to work independently and manage your time efficiently.
- Prior driving experience is an asset, but not mandatory.
- Earnings: 92% of your fare goes directly to you. Strug Inc. only charges an 8% commission (excluding taxes).
