SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking the right Chief Executive Officer to lead one of its portfolio companies, a professional services business. They are prepared to invest heavily to drive the company's scale using both inorganic and organic methods.
COMPENSATION: A competitive salary, annual bonus, and wealth-building equity grant make for a compelling economic opportunity.

- Hold Period: Exit planned for 2027
- Deal Structure: Control buyout
INVESTMENT THESIS: Transform the business and drive scale ahead of a 2027 exit.
- Deliver efficient, scalable solutions
- Pursue organic expansion while adding strategic add-ons to broaden its portfolio and geographic presence
- Lead the company through a recapitalization to a new investor in the next 2-3 years
THE SPONSOR: This private equity firm has a solid history of scaling businesses. Today the sponsor owns 18 portfolio companies and has $1B in cumulative capital commitments.
CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes:
- Business Model: Professional Services
- Functional: CEO or top leader of a lower middle-market company, or COO, President, or other senior-level leader within a larger enterprise
- Orientation: Commercially focused
- Private Equity: Highly preferred
- M&A: Solid integration experience required
- Tenure: 20+ years of progressive career success
