Within External Manufacturing Specialty Care Department, the SC & Operations Lead will be responsible to lead and manage the relationship with the End-to-End External Partners & Suppliers within the EPMT perimeter, as the primary point of contact to ensure the on-time & in full manufacturing and distribution of products supplied by EM&S. In addition this person will be responsible for day-to-day operational activities.

Main Responsibilities
- Accountable for on time and in-full delivery of products for CMOs/External Suppliers within EMPT unit, accountable for tracking KPIs. Drives continuous improvement in the performance of the supplier in areas of Safety, Cost & Delivery
- Accountable for execution of CMO Management processes ensuring standard governance meetings are routinely held, decisions and actions are documented, and the correct attendees participate. Facilitate internal stakeholder alignment prior to joint governance meetings.
- Accountable for Purchase Order Monitoring and monthly PO reconciliation
- Ensures routine monitoring of CMO inventories, assessing potential risks and providing proactive remediation plans. lll
- Contribute to the Site Supply Review (SSR) process in collaboration with the Global Supply Planning team for the corresponding products/group of products
- Make decision or escalate any blocking point which may not allow us meeting our requirements
- Troubleshooting and able to find creative solutions based on a solid understanding of the relevant processes to ensure a high supply performance
- Carry out root cause analyses in the event of (financial / invoice) deviations as well as developing solutions and tracking
- Bachelor OR Master degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business or other relevant field
- Minimum 6 years (8+ preferred) experience in manufacturing pharmaceutical environment with min 3 years (5 preferred) experience in Supply Chain or Finance environment.
- APICS qualification is a plus
- Hands on experience in supply chain operational roles
- Experience in financial / purchase order reconciliation
- Working knowledge of complex distribution and supply chain network (eg Cell Therapy or just in time manufacturing and supply).
- Knowledge of Supply Network Planning, Demand Management, Manufacturing processes and principles like CMO, forecast accuracy, OTIF etc.
- Knowledge or experience working with Radio Ligand Therapies would be preferable.
- Experience and knowledge of SAP and MS Office tools is a must
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and evolving environment
- Able to understand business urgency and act quickly upon changing priorities.
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
