Position Overview:
Architech is seeking a dynamic, visionary leader to join as our Vice President AI & Cloud Solutions—a strategic evangelist and influential pre-sales leader. In this pivotal role, you'll spearhead innovation, drive strategic growth, and empower client success within the rapidly evolving landscape of AI and cloud technologies. You'll serve as a trusted advisor and technical visionary, partnering closely with clients to tackle complex business challenges by translating them into groundbreaking AI and cloud-based solutions. Your impact will extend beyond solutions delivery, fostering meaningful, long-term partnerships and enhancing Architech's position as a leading AI-first consultancy.
Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, you'll collaborate strategically with cloud industry leaders (such as Azure, GCP, and emerging AI technology providers) to drive co-selling initiatives, optimize market development funds (MDF), and cultivate impactful alliances. Additionally, you'll amplify Architech’s brand presence through thought leadership, community engagement, and participation in high-profile industry events, conferences, and hackathons.
Key Responsibilities:
Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy & Innovation
- Closely collaborate with the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and the sellers to craft, launch, and continuously refine Architech’s Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy/solutions for AI and cloud offerings.
- Serve as Architech’s tech visionary leader, proactively identifying groundbreaking industry trends and new opportunities, integrating cutting-edge solutions into our offerings to ensure Architech remains ahead of AI & Cloud market demands.
- Lead the evolution and expansion of Architech’s AI and cloud solutions across key partner verticals, aligning closely with market needs and client expectations to drive lasting competitive advantage.
Client Presale Engagement
- Collaborate with CIOs, CTOs, and senior executives to craft and implement strategic AI/Cloud transformation roadmaps and governance frameworks.
- Act as a trusted advisor to help drive AI adoption, AI-first modernization strategies, and scalable cloud solutions.
- Support sales and solution architecture by effectively positioning Architech’s AI-driven solutions to address strategic client needs.
- Be the organizational gateway and drive close alignment between the GTM and our Product & Technology organization.
Channel Partner Engagement and Strategic Growth
- Continuously monitor and evaluate emerging AI technologies, LLM advancements, and innovative cloud solutions to identify strategic opportunities.
- Establish and nurture strategic AI and cloud technology partnerships beyond traditional platforms (Azure, GCP), emphasizing cutting-edge tools, ML frameworks, and automation technologies.
- Develop co-selling frameworks and integration strategies with AI and cloud vendors, enabling mutual business growth.
- Strengthen and expand relationships with key cloud partners (Azure, GCP), optimizing MDF utilization, joint pipeline growth, and technical alignment.
- Continuously participate in our cloud partner learning events for upskilling.
- Coordinate joint solution showcases and workshops with cloud and AI partners to highlight Architech’s capabilities in AI-powered modernization and intelligent application development.
Thought Leadership, Community & Industry Engagement
- Represent Architech externally through participation in industry events, hackathons, webinars, executive panels, and conferences.
- Host and organize community engagement activities (meetups, hackathons, workshops) to build Architech’s presence in the AI and cloud community.
- Author influential thought leadership content, including white papers, blogs, and industry publications, to showcase Architech’s expertise and innovation in AI/cloud solutions.
Collaboration with VP of Services / Head of Engineering for Upskilling & Capability Growth
- Partner closely to continuously upskill internal teams in AI and cloud technologies through structured training and certification programs (e.g., Azure AI Engineer, Google Cloud ML Engineer).
- Foster a mentorship-driven culture aimed at developing internal expertise in advanced AI methodologies such as LLMs, agentic AI, and cloud-native applications.
- Ensure internal teams are prepared and capable of delivering high-value strategic engagements aligned with client priorities.
- Drive Architech’s partnership with Azure, GCP, Databricks, and others.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- 12+ years of senior experience in technology including AI, cloud, data, application modernization, and strategic technology consulting, with at least 5 years in a mid/senior technical leadership role.
- Deep technical expertise in AI and data technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, and large language models (LLMs), data engineering, and lake house architecture.
- Proven experience in pre-sales engineering, solution architecture, and client-facing roles defining strategic technical solutions.
- Extensive experience with consultative selling methodologies and proven track record of driving complex, strategic technology engagements.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; articulate, persuasive, and highly effective at building long-lasting client relationships.
- Strong track record of successfully managing and expanding strategic partnerships and alliances.
- Demonstrated thought leadership through public speaking engagements, published articles, and community involvement in AI/cloud-related events.
- Proven ability to mentor, train, and build high-performing technical teams.
Key Success Metrics:
- Revenue Growth & Deals Influenced: Trackable contribution to AI/cloud-driven engagements and revenue generation.
- Client Roadmap Delivery: Number and quality of strategic AI/cloud roadmaps developed with clients.
- Partnership Expansion: Growth and quality of new AI and cloud partnerships established.
- Cloud Partner Performance: MDF utilization, certifications attained, and successful launch of co-branded initiatives.
- Community Impact: Engagement levels and reach from hosted or attended community and industry events.
- Team Upskilling: Increase in team certifications, internal AI/cloud expertise, and strategic project delivery capabilities.
What Success Looks Like:
Success in this role means leveraging strategic technology consulting and consultative selling approaches to become a trusted advisor for Architech's most strategic clients, driving measurable business outcomes through AI/Cloud solutions. Success is reflected in tangible contributions to revenue growth, expanded partnerships, and enhanced internal AI/cloud capabilities.
