
Scheduling Analyst

ContractOur healthcare client is seeking four Systems Analysts to support various tasks related to the design, build, and implementation of the Scheduling application within a Clinical Information System.
These Systems Analysts will work under the guidance of the Registration & Scheduling Manager and contribute to stakeholder engagement, requirement gathering, design, scheduling order mapping, development, testing, and implementation of the Scheduling Application within the Win 32 Cerner Scheduling Solution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience in designing, building, and implementing scheduling solutions within Cerner Millennium, including specialties like Oncology, Ambulatory, Mental Health, Radiology, and Women’s Health.
- Knowledge of large-scale Cerner Millennium implementations across multi-hospital organizations.
- Proficiency in Cerner Scheduling Solution and Orders to Scheduling mapping in Cerner Millennium.
- Familiarity with complex flex rule applications and Referral Management within Cerner Millennium.
- Experience in business analysis, design, process improvement, and testing.
- Proficiency in DCW Completion using Excel spreadsheets.
- Ability to communicate technical issues effectively to clinical and business staff.
- Basic understanding of systems principles in healthcare contexts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in summarizing documentation based on evaluation and analysis.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to address complex issues.
- Experience in transformational process analysis to support change management.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to align with the organization’s vision, mission, and values effectively.
Relevant Skills and Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in all phases of scheduling implementations within Cerner Millennium.
- Post-secondary education in clinical, health science, information technology, or health informatics.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience in workflow and process redesign is advantageous.
- Capable of working independently and within team environments.
- Certifications such as CPHIMS, ITIL, PMP, or organizational change management are beneficial.
