About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Director of IT Operations to lead, shape, and scale our global IT operations in a complex, dynamic environment. You’ll manage a talented team, driving innovation, automation, and continuous improvement — all while ensuring our portfolio of companies has the reliable, efficient IT services needed to thrive.

As a strategic leader in our Corporate IT team, you’ll own critical services like IT Service Management (ITSM), Service Desk, IT Support, and Asset Lifecycle Management. You’ll also embed Veralto’s Enterprise System (VES) to create a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and lead a high-performing IT operations team — mentor, develop, and inspire your people.
  • Design and drive IT operations strategies, programs, and roadmaps that support a growing global enterprise.
  • Lead the development of scalable, automated solutions across ITSM, service desk, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Ensure continuous improvement by integrating metrics and VES principles into everything you deliver.
  • Monitor performance, system uptime, and team responsiveness — champion operational excellence.
  • Identify emerging trends and recommend innovations to keep us ahead of the curve.
  • Lead projects and ensure IT operations align with business goals, security standards, and best practices.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Proven leadership experience managing technical teams in a global IT operations environment. Bachelor Degree preferred.
  • 10+ years in IT operations, service desk, ITSM (Service Management), ITIL (Infrastructure Library) or asset lifecycle management — you know this world inside and out.
  • Expertise in enterprise IT operations architecture, process automation, and IT Gen AI.
  • A track record of successfully delivering secure, reliable IT services that scale.
  • Hands-on experience with technologies like Jira Service Management, Microsoft Intune, and other IT operations tools.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills — plus the ability to manage vendors and budgets.

With annual sales of $5 billion, Veralto is a global leader in essential technology solutions with a proven track record of solving some of the most complex challenges we face as a society. Our industry-leading companies with globally recognized brands are building on a long-established legacy of innovation and customer trust to create a safer, cleaner, more vibrant future.
