About This Role

As an Instructional Designer at CompIQ, you will collaborate closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop engaging and effective learning solutions. Your role will focus on designing, implementing, and evaluating instructional content and programs tailored to our software products and technologies. Utilizing your expertise in adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies, you will play a key role in enhancing the learning experience for our internal teams and external clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our innovative software solutions through impactful learning initiatives.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product, development, and training teams to identify learning needs and design effective instructional materials.
  • Develop and maintain e-learning modules, training guides, manuals, and other instructional content for software products.
  • Apply instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and best practices to create engaging and effective training solutions.
  • Conduct needs assessments and evaluate learning gaps to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Design and deliver training programs for internal teams and external clients on software functionalities and best practices.
  • Implement assessment tools and metrics to measure training effectiveness and learner performance.
  • Continuously review and update existing training materials based on user feedback, software updates, and industry trends.
  • Facilitate live training sessions, webinars, and workshops as needed.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in instructional design and software development to improve training approaches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent and cohesive learning experience across platforms.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Instructional Designer degree preferred.
  • Curriculum Development experience.
  • eLearning Development + storyboarding experience.
  • LMS experience.
  • Multimedia content creation (video, audio, graphics).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical skills: Articulate 360, Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Adobe.
