Purpose of the Role
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll be at the heart of our mission to find and connect with new clients, boosting our company’s growth. Your day-to-day will involve reaching out to potential customers through calls, emails, and social media to spark interest in what we offer. You'll team up with our sales and marketing crews to craft and execute clever outreach campaigns aimed at lining up meetings and demos for our sales pros. Plus, you’ll keep track of your interactions in our CRM system and share updates on your progress regularly.

- Qualify Leads: Determine if prospects are a good match for our products.
- Build Relationships: Engage with potential clients and keep the conversation going.
- Team Up: Work closely with sales and marketing to develop outreach strategies.
- Set Up Meetings: Arrange meetings and product demos for our sales executives.
- Stay Organized: Maintain detailed records of all your interactions in our CRM.
- Report Back: Provide regular updates on your activities and pipeline progress.

Requirements:
Essential Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in outbound sales, lead generation, or business development role
- Ability to work in a rapidly expanding and changing environment at a high-growth company.
- Ability to uncover accounts’ needs and effectively differentiate how the IriusRisk approach will meet them.
- Team player attitude and collaborative approach to selling.
