Our History
Originally founded in 1992 as M-Tech Information Technology, acquired by Hitachi, Ltd. in 2008, and acquired by the Volaris Group in 2022, Bravura Security, Inc is a leading provider of identity, privileged access, password, and passwordless solutions.
The first product from Bravura Security was Bravura Pass, which was originally shipped in 1995 as P-Synch. Today, Bravura Security is a leading provider of identity and privileged access management solutions.
What We Do
The sole business of Bravura Security is to develop, sell and deploy solutions that manage and control identities, entitlements and credentials. Our technology and services organization have evolved over the years, based on our experience in deploying Bravura Security products into over 1200 organizations, with a cumulative 14 million users.
Bravura Security products are available either individually or as components of the Bravura Security Fabric.
The Bravura Security Fabric is an IAM solution designed to simplify and secure the management of user life-cycles, from onboarding until termination, across many kinds of systems and applications.
Using Bravura Patterns, we are uniquely able to automate joiner/mover/leaver processes, with a minimum of process (re)engineering and without spending an undue amount of time focusing on access certification or data cleanup.
Core Responsibilities
- Utilize data, analysis, financials, and input from customers and company subject matter experts to determine short and long term strategic plans for the product offering.
- Aggressively identify market opportunities by conducting market research and observation supported by regular on-going visits to customers.
- Conduct competitive analysis and develop a strong understanding of stakeholders to drive product decisions.
- Synthesize information gathered to develop a go-to-market product strategy and manage its execution.
- Develop and manage the business plans for products that reflect the market opportunity, competitive challenges, product requirements, pricing, pipeline, forecasting and organizational resources to achieve success.
- Build a substantial pipeline of product opportunities, identify product development initiatives and generate new ideas that have significant potential to grow the Company’s market share, improve customer experience and drive overall revenue growth.
- Gather and assimilate a wide variety of research and data for product requirements; define the unique features and functionality of our products to meet customer needs and market opportunities.
- Identify emerging trends and relationships with potential partners for new products and services, and direct our existing partner solution development.
- Prepare IRR financials and be accountable for approved product development initiatives through implementation.
- Analyze key performance metrics to measure effectiveness of product offerings and drive improvements.
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team to set the overall strategic direction for the company’s product line in order to meet financial targets.
- Develop strong partnerships with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to leverage functional resources effectively.
- Introduce product management processes and structure, as appropriate, to support growth of the company and enable quality development of product enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in technology or business field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in product management field.
- 2 years of experience with function leadership.
- Direct experience with managing an agile product development life-cycle in conjunction with software engineering divisions.
- Effective communication skills and ability to partner with cross-functional peers in a matrix organization.
- Driven by innovation and an out-of-the-box thinker.
- Ability to quickly understand and assess opportunities at a strategic level leveraging proven business acumen.
- Ability to envision ways to leverage emerging technologies to create innovative breakthroughs in the security market.
- Applies broad knowledge and understanding of the industry.
- Ability to build rapport and influence senior management, customers, and a broad and diverse peer group.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IRR financial models.
- Previous experience in managing P&Ls for products.
