The Opportunity
The Sephora Marketing Effectiveness team develops best-in-class full funnel marketing analytics to optimize marketing strategies and deliver data-driven insights across both internal and brand business partners. Through analytic innovation, we support Sephora's strategic marketing initiatives and drive business growth.
Job Summary
As our Analyst on the Media Insights team, you will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and providing actionable insights for Sephora's paid media efforts across our retail media network, known as the Sephora Media Network. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate data into meaningful insights that drive marketing effectiveness and business outcomes.

Job Summary
As our Analyst on the Media Insights team, you will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and providing actionable insights for Sephora's paid media efforts across our retail media network, known as the Sephora Media Network. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate data into meaningful insights that drive marketing effectiveness and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
Data Management and Quality Assurance (30%)
- Manage the collection, integration, and quality assurance of data from diverse sources, including first-party, third-party, and marketing channel partners
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all data sources
- Produce brand-level reporting and comprehensive hindsight/wrap reports
- Translate data needs into actionable insights
- Communicate insights effectively to stakeholders
- Partner with media, brand marketing, product, and technology teams
- Ensure that measurement capabilities are aligned with overall business goals
- Foster strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their requirements
- Develop analytics expertise within the evolving retail media network business
- Generate innovative ideas and articulate complex analytics concepts/insights
- Enhance efficiencies through automation and dashboards
- Maintain a client-centric approach in all analytics activities
Experience
- 1+ years experience in marketing analytics, with a focus on paid media analysis and insights within beauty/retail
- Previous experience with retail media network marketing is a plus
- 1+ years proficiency in data analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Databricks, BigQuery, Tableau, or similar platforms
- 1+ years proficiency in SQL
- 1+ years strong understanding of paid media channels, including search, social media, display, video, and programmatic advertising
- 1+ years experience with data visualization and reporting tools to communicate complex insights effectively
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in analytics, marketing, advertising, statistics, data science, business, or a related field
- Master's degree a plus
