Full timeJoin our Life Sciences department as a Manager, Copy on our in-house Creative team! Our Life Sciences department creates content for pharma manufacturers, creative and media agencies, as well as government and advocacy groups that highlights the difference that Phreesia makes in patients’ lives and brings innovation to the healthcare industry. As a Marketing Lead Writer, you will craft compelling content across various mediums including print, digital, out-of-home, and video. With previous people management experience, you will manage a junior writer as you contribute to both high level strategic direction as well as day-to-day execution. You will collaborate cross-functionally with other Marketing team members to maintain brand standards (including tone and voice) and rely on your brand positioning expertise as we build a path forward for our Life Sciences marketing strategy.
If you have a proven track record of producing high-quality content that drives engagement and conversion and are looking for a position with a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of marketing principles, this role is for you!
What You'll Do:
- Develop engaging and persuasive content for print materials such as decks, one-pagers, case studies, newsletters, infographics, and event-related copy needs (invitations, signage, swag, etc.) and write compelling copy for digital platforms, including websites, social media channels, email campaigns, and online advertisements
- Craft scripts for video content including promotional videos, and brand storytelling pieces
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop integrated campaigns that align with brand objectives and target audience demographics, ensuring that content strategies support marketing objectives and ensure alignment with brand positioning and audience needs
- Manage and mentor a more junior copywriter
- Ensure all content adheres to brand voice, style guidelines, and messaging consistency across all channels
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing and advertising and ensure all content complies with industry regulations, including healthcare and pharma advertising standards
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of writing experience in brand advertising and/or marketing, with brand positioning expertise, preferably with patient-centric work in the digital space
- Deep familiarity around a concept, a project brief, a client presentation and multiple client requests.
- Detail orientation with proven communication skills across writing, editing, proofreading, and grammar as well as analysis, interpretation and reasoning
- Comfortable creating content in the AP writing style
- Strong grasp and distinct perspective on brand voice, tone and style
- Previous people management experience and an aptitude to collaborate effectively with peers and influence stakeholders at all levels
